Rock Hard Fairy Card.

Because i set myself a personal challenge of posting a card every night this week, i have cheated a bit. This is a card i made quite a while ago as i am still feeling ill and not up to making one today but hey it's my challenge and i set (bend) the rules lol. This is one of my rock hard fairy cards, decoupaged, i love these images for teenagers ( who am i kidding, i have the rock hard fairy mug and notebook lol) Hopefully will be feeling better tomorrow and i can get some crafting done. Quick post tonight as i'm not feeling too good, think i've got the stomach bug my daughter had last week. This is a 'Thankyou' card and sweetie bag for my daughter's teacher, well in fact i had to make 5 for all the teachers but they are so simple to make. xx

Becky's Blog Candy.

I followed Steph's directions to Becky's Happy Crafting Place and what a fantastic blog you just have to visit if you haven't already, she has some really beautiful cards and a great little game at the bottom of her blog, i'm going back to play when i've posted this he he. Oh and she is giving away some amazing blog candy, the colour scheme is beautiful.

My sample for the SBS18 Challenge.

This is my sample card for the SBS18 challenge , Just to say.... Thank you. I made a few of these cards for my childrens teachers and i also made matching sweet bags which i will post later after i buy the sweets to put in them.

Daring Cardmakers, Quickie Card.

I love this challenge on Daring Cardmakers this week, a quickie card. So i timed myself and this card took me 4 mins and 13 seconds BUT that didn't include the colouring as i already had the image coloured, it probably took about 5 mins to colour the image. I put mirror card in the aperture and stamped star's on it with stazon, then coloured them with blue sakura glaze pen, stuck on the goblin image, a peel off 'happy birthday', ribbon and buttons and bob's your auntie.

Tilda and Co Challenge Entry. Dotty.

The lovely Jacqui stamped me out these images and i was really nervous about ruining Tilda's wall, so i sat and looked at it for about 10 minutes trying to decide how to colour it, i eventually used my prisma pencils and sansador and i'm really happy with the outcome, i could really do with some pracice with shading etc as i was never very good at art. But all in all i'm happy with it and i love this ribbon i got from poppicraft and it fits in with the Dotty theme in this weeks Tilda and co challenge, i will maybe treat myself to some more at the weekend as i'm running low.

Papertake Challenge. Hot Mobile Phone Card.

I made this card for my daughter for her birthday from her sibblings, steph gave me a great site for templates, Time for Crafting. Anyway, it didn't turn out too bad but i had to adapt certain things as i didn't have all that was needed. I used a stampin up stamp to decorate the phone, instead of making buttons for the numbers i just used a white gel pen to write them on as i didn't have a round punch and i didn't have the patience to cut out all the little circles, I also used mirror card for the screen as i didn't have any sticky plastic to make it look glass.

Penny Black Challenge. Friends.

Ooooohhhhh I'm on the ball this week, already made my card for the Penny Black Challenge, this is quick for me. The theme for this weeks challenge was friends so out came the hedgie's. I'm setting myself a personal challenge this week and that is to enter as many challenges as i can and to post something on my blog everyday and if i manage to do it i'm going to treat myself to something crafty at the weekend he he any excuse.

Dottie's World. Floral.

This weeks challenge on Dottie's world was Florals, so i have used 'work out dottie' from the dottie at home download. I changed her spotty leotard to flowers, did you notice? lol and coloured her in using my sakura pens, the floral paper is from dovecraft and the flowers are from poppicraft. I'm pretty happy with this entry, i think the pink and black look good.

PB Challenge Entry.

At last i've managed to get a challenge done, I couldn't have missed out on this one as i love PB stamps. So here it is, my entry for the first Penny Black Challenge . The stamp i used on this card is 'Labour of Love', I have coloured it using my marvy pens and water, ribbon, flower and button are from Poppicraft, small roses are printed on the pink card but i'm not sure if you can notice on the photo, In bloom stamp from dovecraft.

Date For Your Diary.

I'm so excited to tell you about a brand new challenge blog called ABC Challenge that start on the 2nd July. Each week a theme will be set using the letters of the alphabet in turn and some fab candy will be sent to the winner of each challenge. I am so proud to have been asked to be a design team member and i can tell you that the organisers of this challenge have come up with some fantastic idea's not only for the themes but also for the candy. SBS18 Challenge.

I had so much fun making this card and it was so simple, well thats probably why i had so much fun making it lol. Anyway, i made this card for the SBS Challenge, the theme 'Lilac' was set by Jane and she is giving away some fantastic images as candy. My card is an idea i got from Dawn's stampin studio and it is for gift tokens etc, I used stampin up stamps for the background and sentiment from the 'best blossoms range' flowers from poppicraft, brads are from dovecraft, card and ribbon my stash. I know i'll be using this design a lot in the future, one of my fav's.

SBS18 Challenge

This is my entry for the SBS18 challenge the theme was 'couples'. So again i used a penny black image, squeeze til i squeak. .I have matt and layered the image on yellow and green card stock, the backing paper was from a calender i recieved in one of my craft magazine's, so each time a month passes i use the previous month's page on my cards lol, well, waste not want not. The flowers i have used are from poppicraft, i have doubled them up and put a couple of random petals on the card.

Cute Card Thursday's Entry.

This is my entry for Cute Card Thursday's challenge, the theme was Christmas so i found this image from some candy i won (sorry i don't know the name of the stamp) Even though i love the image, i'm not too happy with my card, its just not sitting well with me but i like how the image came out with my prisma pencils and sansador, i also used sakura glitter pen but it isn't showing up on the picture. I think i need to be in the 'christmasy mood' to make christmas cards and with the weather we've been having i'm more in a 'summery mood', ok waffling now, time to go. What mood are you in? he he.

Another baby card.

Another baby girl card that my sister asked me to make for her, i'm quite proud of it as it had to be made in a hurry and i think it turned out really cute, sometimes my quickest cards are my favourite. Anyway, going to see the little baby 'Jasmyne' today for the first time and then going to see sex in the city, can't wait.

Baby Girl Card.

My friend had a baby girl this morning, so this afternoon i sat and made her card while my son was at school. I was really stuck for idea's, i didn't want to do my usual baby card as she had seen them all before so i found this image that Donna had sent me and as it is sssooooo cute i didn't think i should add too much or it would spoil it. I'm really happy with it, very simple but one of my better cards i feel.

1) My first pet that i can remember was my dog Blue and my address was jublee ave, so its Blue Jublee. (sounds pretty good, if i ever think of changing career's)
2) Think i'd like to live in Australia, but i've never been, we were thinking of emmigrating but its been put on hold.
3) I wanted to be a hairdresser and beautician, i got my place in college and then i got married (very young and didn't last after 7 yrs) Anyway, i'm a qualified Counsellor which is something i hope to do when my son starts school.

SBS 18 Challenge.

The SBS18 challenge this week was, to make a card that did not use traditional fold and to use the colour's black, red, pink and white. (The SBS18 challenge is open to everybody not just members and some fab candy is given as a prize for the winner)
So here goes, (sorry for the scanned image) my card was folded in half and then the front folded back again (sorry don't know the name) PINK was used for the card, the ribbon and stitching around the image, BLACK was used on the image, ribbon, flower and card, WHITE was used in the ribbon and card, finally RED was used on the bow around the rabbit, flower and brad.

Tilda and Co Challenge.

Sorry about the picture my camera is playing up so i have had to use the scanner. This is my entry for the Tilda and Co sunday challenge, the theme was non card week. I had a template for a door hanger which i had never used so i thought i'd give it a try. The image is Tilda, which i coloured using my watercolour pencils, the background was printed on from a download i purchased from funky fairy, the ribbons were from my stash and flowers from poppicraft. To add a bit of bling i stuck on some little crystal gems.

Back to Front Card.

Just to let you know, that i really didn't mean to put the cats on the back of the card on the cat card. I was only trying to cover my silly mistake. I thought all the people who have done this themselves would know exactly what i'd done but it looks like there are not that many people about who have made the same mistake as me lol. Anyway, i managed to fix the card and its no longer a back to front card. I wouldn't intentionally put the picture on the back of the card, honest.

Dottie's World Challenge. Back to Front Card.

Thought i'd do something a little bit different with my card tonight, well a change is as good as a rest, so instead of putting the picture on the front of the card i decided to put it on the back. Wow, i hear you say, what a good idea.....i know, i know i thought so myself (blush). Anyway, i have used the same colour scheme as my last cat's card but i really enjoy colouring in these cats so i have about 40 coloured cats on my desk all in the same colour scheme, the cats are a download from charmed cards and crafts they are fab and brads, ribbon and flower are from poppicraft.

Papertake Challenge

This is my entry for the Papertake Challenge, the requirements were to add 'die cuts' so i cut out the flower on my sidekick, once in blue and again in white, then added a little brad. I have to say thank you to Vicky, who sent me most of what i used in candy. Thanks Vicky, love the blue papers.

No neither can i. Obviously when i was giving my blog a face lift and i accidently deleted all my contacts, i deleted the music too. Doh. And it only took me two days to notice he he. I'm starting to scare myself at how scatty i have been lately. It must be the weather.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge

This is my entry for Cute Card Thurdsday Challenge The image is 'Tilda' sent to me by my SBS18 sister Jacqui, why not pay her blog a visit you won't be disapointed, her cards are fabulous. I coloured Tilda with my prisma pencils and sansodor then layered her on some green card, i then put this on some patterned paper and cut around with my scalloped scissors, which went on top of some beautiful patterned paper i downloaded from Funky Fairy Papercraft (doyadoodle), i made the little heart on top of the flower and stamped 'Thank you' on to it, the flower again is from poppicraft.

Funky Fairy Summer Theme Challenge

This is my entry for the Funky Fairy Challenge, the theme was 'summer time'. The image is Penny Black, given to me by Donna in the candy i won, i coloured it with my marvy pens and water, then layered it on some pink card, the backing paper was free from Crafts Beautiful and the flowers are from Poppicraft.

Dottie's Challenge Entry

Phew made it, hehe I'm up really late tonight but wanted to get my entry finished for Dottie's Challenge, i just hope i got the recipe right. I just love these cats. I coloured the cats using prisma pencils and sansador, then i chalked around the edge of the image, papers are a free download from Shabby Princess, brads (aren't they cute?) and flowers from Poppicraft, ribbon from my Stash. I hand drew the sentiment, freehand cut the scallaped edge and .......i forgot the dry embossing......bum.....i don't care......bum....I'm going to bed .....
