This is my sample card for this weeks challenge.

Crafty Creations 'Halloween' Challenge.

Hi all, hope your all having a good Wednesday, well i suppose its almost over now lol. Anyway, this weeks Crafty Creation's Challenge is 'Halloween' so we'd love to see all your 'spooky' creations, I've decided to put up a prize for this week and as it was a last minute decision, I've decided the prize will be a 'Secret Stash' as it's still a secret to me lol but i've a good idea of what i'm going to do. My DT Card is all using Pink Petticoat downloads and i think they are fantastic, a definate must have as they are so cute and you can't usually say that about Halloween downloads can you? I've added cute little spider peel offs that i managed to pick up last year reduced to 1.00 for 3 sheets, its not very often you can say that either lol. I hope you will all join in this week, i can't wait to see what you come up with. Take Care. Donna x

Cute Spooky.

I got these lovely downloaded papers and images from Pink Petticoat last night, the are brilliant. I got the Happy Haunting Girls set free when i bought 'Big Dots' download. So this is a little card i have made using the download and i'm entering it into this weeks Cute Card Thursday Challenge, as the theme is 'The stars at night' or 'something spooky'.

Its Snowing!

Good morning everyone, Its snowing! thought i was seeing things when i looked out of the window but its true and not just a little bit of snow........loads of it. The children are already in school but i know Kalen will be so excited and eager to get home to go out and play in it, don't think it will lie though as it has been raining for the last few days, so no snowmen yet. I just wanted to show you what popped through my door yesterday....i love it when little packages arrive that you forgot were coming, I got this for entering one of my sbs18 sisters, Kimberly's challenge. Isn't it fab? I love the little coupon bag she has made, perfect for stamped images as i'm using an envelope at the minute.

And i managed to get a card made last night too, I found a challenge site that i had never heard of before 'Just Christmas and Birthday Cards' and they had a fab sketch to work from so i gave it a go and i couldn't wait to use my new santa stamp. The first time i had seen this stamp was when one of my fellow dt members from One Stop Craft Challenge, Angie, had used it on her card and that was it, i had to have it, then i started seeing more cards using it, thats always the way isn't it? Well, while shopping in Belfast on Saturday, there it was, just smiling at me saying "buy me, you know you want too" and who was i to argue with santa? So here it is.

My Pink Tilda Card

On this weeks Tilda and Co the challenge was a sketch and this is the card i made using it. I know...me and my white gel pen.....looks like tilda has been painting again lol but i'm determined to get the hang of this lighting thing and i'll keep trying till i get the hang of it. I actually made this card for a blogging buddy who has recently lost someone to cancer and although i know she doesn't' like pink, with it being breast cancer awareness month I'm sure she'll not mind.

Penny Black ATC

Morning crafters, How's the weather where you are? (Apparently we talk alot about the weather in Ireland, lol) It would blow the head off you over here, i have just left the children off at school and there's nothing better than walking in the wind and rain to wake you up in the morning, Brrrrr. Anyway, this is a little atc that i made last night for the Penny Black Challenge, this image was sent to me by a blogging buddy last year (i don't have nesties yet but they are on the list) I think it must be one of the transparent set as they are slightly smaller than the wooden stamps and perfect for atc's. I have coloured it with Marvy pens and water, the backing paper is from Jaime (Love them) and i have added ribbon and silver liquid pearls to embellish, i have made the scalloped edge with the new SU scallop punch (thanks Jenny) which is fab, highly recommend it to everyone. Well, the house isn't going to tidy itself, unfortunately, catch you all later. x

Wow just finished typing the first bit when i received the award again from Debbie, how special do i feel? My head will be too big to fit under these stairs soon lol. (Yes i like to sit under the stairs, well that's where the computer is, its not that i'm strange or anything.)Thankyou all.xx

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Nikki is giving away some fab pink blog candy to celebrate 30,000 hits to her blog but most importantly to support breast cancer awareness month. She has a little penguin on her blog and she would love everyone to put him on their blog to help raise awareness. Also, for an extra entry into the blog candy she would love you to make a pink card for someone special and then post a link on her blog so she can come and see it. So come on everyone, get those pink papers out and support breast cancer awareness month. x

Cute Card Thursday Challenge

I made this card for one of my son's friends in nursery, their theme in school this month is Autumn and it just happens to be the theme for this weeks Cute Card Thursday Challenge, I have used some magnolia stamps for this card and coloured them with prisma colour pencils and sansador, the backing paper was sent to me by Jaime and i copied the shape of this card from the instruction booklet from the Dovecraft Wonderboard, think its quite cute.

Pirate Bear

This was a quickie so it didn't quite go to plan as i didn't have the time to make it how i wanted. I had given myself time last night to do this card for my daughters friend but we had some unexpected visitor's so he ended up being thrown together lol. And i had ran out of silicon so my o/h gave me some of his from the shed and now the card just stinks of vinegar lol. But he's still cute, i just don't think i have done him justice. Well this little pirate bear is a download from 'Cuddly Buddly' and he comes with papers and embellishment's to match, i did plan to decoupage him a bit more and to give his coat, hat and sword a layer of laquer, i also didn't want him to smell so bad but i'm sure his owner won't mind, hopefully the smell will fade over time. he he.

Paul is celebrating over 15,000 hits to his blog, wow well done Paul. Check out his fab cards and what he has up for grabs for one lucky winner. x

So many Thank you's

Hi everyone, well i haven't been blogging much this week, some of you may know that i had my son Adam home and on Sunday we had to say our goodbyes as he's off on a 6 month tour. We had a lovely meal out on Saturday and took loads of family photo's, there is one of Adam and me on the right of my blog, he's enjoying his last pint of harp, bless. I have had so many messages of support from all the lovely ladies in blogging land and the SOS website and i want to say a big thankyou to you all, it really means a lot to me. I have made this card for one special lady who sent me a lovely e mail, i think most of you know her its Emma/Elf Creations, Emma i think your fantastic, you have been through so much lately including loosing a very close friend yet you still had time to write to me offering a listening ear and collecting all those Christmas cards for the troops, your an angel, thankyou. x

Ok i also meant to do this earlier (lots of catching up to do) The SBS 18 challenge is going through some changes, originally we had been taking it in turns to do the design team but this didn't seem to work out too well and we were all getting a bit mixed up with who was doing what and when etc so it was agreed that a design team would be set up and a guest design team for member's who couldn't commit to weekly challenges due to work, family commitments etc. So the SBS 18 has now changed to Crafty Creations, the new design team will take over in a couple of weeks but until then the challenge will carry on as usual. I also want to thank Jaime for sending me this lovely image and paper used on this card. x

My First DT Card for One Stop Card Crafts.

Well here it is my first DT card for One Stop Card Crafts. I was sent these adorable stamps, Christmas Teddies and i have had so much fun with them. I thought i would make my first card quite simple so that i wasn't drawing attention away from the stamps with too much fuss. I have coloured the teddy and candy cane with promarkers and used xmas red stickles on his hat and ribbon of the cane. I've so many more ideas running through my head for my next card and can't wait to get it started but you can go to the One Stop Card Crafts Blog to see my 'write up' on this card and see the other Design Team members lovely creations. The Christmas Teddies u mount set consists of 4 adorable Teddies, a candy cane, a stitched heart and 'a bear is for life not just christmas' sentiment. Remember it's free P&P and huge discounts are given depending on the amount you spend.

What a surprise!

Hi everyone, just wanted to tell you about the lovely surprise i got yesterday. Well actually i got quite a few but 2 of them i knew were coming. The first one was when my first DT pack from One Stop Card Crafts came throught the door, I got some beautiful goodies and can't wait to show you what i've made with them but i didn't get as much done as i thought i would because then i had to head to the airport to pick up my o/h who was getting back for the weekend as he works in England and we haven't seen him in 5 weeks, so that was lovely. Then when all the excitement of Daddy getting home had settled and Daddy and the kids were catching up on some serious x boxing, i decided to get out my lovely DT pack to have a play, well.......someone walked into the kitchen and i hardly looked up as i thought it was one of the children getting a drink and was really engrossed in my cards and i heard a 'Hiya' it was my son Adam.....back from Germany for a holiday (he's in the Army). At first it didn't quite register with me and i just looked at him, blinking my eyes to see if it was for real, then came the scream lol. He's home for 10 days before he heads out on a tour for 6 months but i'm trying to keep that to the back of my mind for a while and just enjoy him being home. So what a lovely day full of surprises we had and the children are over the moon to have their Daddy and Big Brother home. We are heading to a family party today so it will be nice to have everyone together. Catch you all later. x

Emma's Candy

The lovely Emma is very kindly giving away some fantastic christmasy blog candy, its a must for any card. Check out her lovely cards and enter to win these fab goodies.

Spiral Whisper 'Flourishes'.

This is my entry for the Spiral whisper challenge this week, the theme is 'flourishes'. On a cold day like today i love the warm colours of this card. The little stamp that i have used is 'Timmy Tiger' isn't he sooo cute. I have coloured him with promarkers and H2o's and matt and layered him onto burnt orange and wine cardstock, this has then been put onto some beautiful 'flourished' backing papers kindly sent to me by Jaime and again this has been put on the orange and wine card. A little wine coloured ribbon and beautiful flowers from Poppicrafts, then last but not least i have randomly stamped flourished flowers using a stamp from the Rachelle anne miller sets. oh i forgot to say that i have not put a sentiment on as i haven't decided who the card is for yet, i will add that later. x

Penny Black Challenge

Well last night, while watching 'pride of britain' i sat and coloured this cute little image for this weeks Penny Black Challenge, all i can say is thank goodness i was using water with my marvy's, oh how sad was it? and how inspiring too, i don't think there was one story that i didn't cry at, by the end of the programme i felt exhausted. Anyway, i'm not at all happy with my colouring on this card but as the image was one that was sent to me, i couldn't stamp out another so i decided to use it anyway. The Theme for the PBC was 'seasons' so i chose to do 'spring' as all i seem to be doing lately is christmas cards and i thought it would make a nice change. I have matt and layered the image on lemon and white cardstock and i ran the white card through my scallop cutter. I have no idea where i got my ribbon from as its been in my stash for a long time but i finished the card by adding 4 lemon brads and the sentiment spring which i stamped out with little letters i bought for £1. The card i have used is from the 'designer card set' from papermania.

Stamp Something Challenge

I made this little card last night for my neice's 5th birthday, she's a real little girly girl so i borrowed this stamp from my 4 year old son believe it or not, he won it on the crafty monkeys challenge a couple of weeks ago and very kindly lent it to me (no i didn't bribe him with sweets....honest) but i did get shouted at for not returning it to its package lol. Anyway its a Rachelle Anne Miller stamp and she is coloured with Marvey pens and a water brush, the paper and shiney letters stickers are from Jaime, which i won on the SBS 18 Challenge.
I am entering this card for the Stamp Something Challenge and this week the theme is simply 'stamp something'.
