Let's hear it for the boys!

Hi there! Its time for a new theme at the One Stop Craft Challenge and this time the theme was chosen by me!! Well I planned this perfectly and there is a good reason why I picked this theme which is of course 'Lets hear it for the boys!' a card or craft project aimed at those awkward species 'Men' lol. I have so many mens birthday cards to make over the next couple of weeks I was hoping some of you lovely crafters (sucking up or what?) would help to inspire me. I usually avoid men's cards like the plague (I have even been known to send ......SHOP BOUGHT ONES!!! I know......its a sin!) but I have been practising this week and hopefully after this weeks challenge I'll be an expert eh? lol. (Ok, I need a card for a golfer, any idea's?) I really hope you can join us this week and if your like myself and usually avoid men's cards then you will be pleased to know that there are some fabulous samples from our DT and GDT on the challenge blog, go on .....be brave....I was lol. Enjoy your weekend. x
For my card I have used a stamp, don't know who makes it or where i got it but its cute eh? I have coloured it using Koh~i~noor pencils and sansador, the papers and embellishments I have used are all from the One Stop Card Crafts online shop.

Elzybells Fathers Day Card

Hi there, I made this Fathers Day Card last night for the Stamp Something Challenge, this week they had a fabulous sketch to follow. I have used my new Elzybells Stamps for this one, aren't they fab, I love the sentiments that go with this cute bear as it suits both my Dad and my partner so I just had to buy them. Also, I have used my new Koh-I-Noor pencils that are also sold in the Elzybells shop, they are fantastic, I need a bit more practise but for a first attempt with them I am chuffed to bits. The card and designer paper are both from Stampin Up, which I've also used on another Male card which will be posted later on in the week. Anyway, hope your having a great day whatever your doing, I'm off to Ikea soon, I get so excited about going there lol am I sad? x

Busy Day Crafting

Hi everyone, well I had a busy day trying to catch up with my crafting yesterday, In fact I was making this first card at 12.30am lol, thats why its very simple. When I got back from my holiday I had a couple of Greeting Farm stamps waiting for me so last night was the first opportunity I got to try them out and I love them, they are so easy to colour in and perfect for my Promarkers. I am entering this one into the Dutch Dare Challenge the theme being Bling Bling/Glitter. I have added little bling gems and glitter pen, not sure its showing up too well though.

Now this little handbag card is for the Creative Card Crew Challenge, the theme this week is 'Shape It'. Another simple card but was so much fun to make, I love making these little flowers its so relaxing, I have used my stampin up Pocket Sillouettes on the flowers and around the edge of the card.

These are my two DT cards for the One Stop Card Craft Online Shop. I love making bright childrens cards and using this stamp set, Crafters Companion Cute Companion Playtime Set, was so much fun, do you remember 'Fuzzy Felt'? Well it reminded me of playing with it, you can make so many different Scenes using these little Characters, my little boy thought they were 'Class' lol. All products on these two cards can be bought at the One Stop Card Crafts Online Shop where there is a fantastic discount on all products.
Well I suppose I may get some housework done, or should I? Maybe I should just get some more crafting done instead, yeah ...that sounds more fun, housework will do tomorrow lol. Enjoy your day. x

Vintage Butterfly

Hi all, I feel like I've been away for a month instead of a week lol and this is the first card I've made in a week too, that's definitely a record for me. I have to appologize for not getting to visit all your blogs this week but since I've got back from my little holiday I've been trying to catch up with everything at home. Anyway, its time for a new challenge on the One Stop Craft Challenge, this week it has been set by Shelley and she would like you to make something in a Vintage Style. This is quite different for me as everytime I try to make something Vintage it usually looks like I've spilt my coffee on my project lol but I'm quite happy with my Vintage Butterfly. I have coloured the image using distress inks, perfect for Vintage and I then used crystal laquer over the top and then scrumpled it up a bit when it was dry. Hope you can join us this week, I look forward to getting some Vintage tips from you all, don't forget to pop over to the challenge blog for some inspiration from the design team and of course to see what you can win. Enjoy your weekend. x

Hi honey......I'm home.

Hi Ladies, well my little holiday in Gibraltar is over but I had an amazing time, we packed so much into the 5 days and I managed to get a bit of a tan too. I was so brave, I managed to build up the courage to get on a cable car to the top of the rock and at one point I even opened my eyes! When we reached the top a cheeky little monkey took a fancy to my bag so we had a bit of a tug of war but I won in the end lol. I have some photo's I will get up later, not sure If I'll get a card up today as I'm working on my DT stuff, maybe tomorrow, I've so much to catch up on now, including visiting you all to see what you have been up to. Enjoy the rest of your day. x

Pink and Brown.

Hi everyone, I've scheduled this post for today as I am currently in Gibraltar lying on the beach, sun beating down on me with a cocktail drink in my hand. (I hope lol) Anyway, its time for the One Stop Craft Challenge and this week Paula has chosen the theme which is Pink and Brown, as you can probably guess from my blog I'm very into brown at the moment. I have picked a sugar nellie stamp and coloured it using my promarkers, the flowers are made using an X Cut punch and I've added little Kanban Pearls to the middle. I hope you can join us this week, pop over to the challenge blog to see the fabulous design teams creations and see what prize we have on offer for you. I'll catch up with you all when I get back next week, enjoy your weekend what ever you have planned.

Quickie Cards.

This is a little quickie card I made last night, so easy to make, most of it was made while I was on the phone to my friend lol. I'm entering this into the Stamp with Us Challenge, the theme this week is 'Thank You' . All products are from Stampin Up.
Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes
Ink: Green Galore and Pixie Pink
Card: Whisper White, Green Galore and Pixie Pink
Butterfly from the 'On Board' set.

Another little quick card, this time for the lili of the Valley Challenge, the theme being Green, Blue and Pink. I have used a little Lili of the Valley die cut unicorn, aren't they the cutest?
Trying to get the house in order so that things will run smoothly while I'm on my little holiday, don't hold much hope though, don't know what the kids will look like when they go to school with Daddy in charge, he's not the best at doing their hair lol.

The best is yet to be.

Here is a little card I made for this weeks Secret Crafter Challenge, the theme is 'Brads or Eyelets'. I have coloured my Hanna stamp with promarkers and I chose the sentiment from my SU 'Best Yet' set, I thought it went well with this card as after the rain comes the rainbow. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday. x

Happy Mail

Hi everyone, I had a lovely day yesterday at the stampin up demonstrators day, met some lovely ladies and had a gorgeous lunch only they served it on something that looked like a chopping board lol was a task in itself to try and keep the food on the plate. So I got this new SU stamp set, isn't it beautiful, its called Pocket Silhouettes and I just had to get it inked up when I got home and make this little card. The sentiment is from the 'Best Yet' set and the colours I have used are Chocolate Chip and Real Red, I have also used my SU Wheel 'Its Beautiful' for the edge of the card. I am entering this for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge, the theme is 'Happy Mail' they would like you to send a card to someone to cheer them up, I have plans for this card but I am going to make a few more childrens cards to send to Post Pals, to find out more about this charity then click Here, It would be nice if everyone could send a happy mail card to these brave children. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. x

Cut It Out!

Good Morning Crafters. Saturday again and our next One Stop Craft Challenge, this week the very talented Sharon has set the theme and she would like you to 'Cut It Out' thought she was being a bit rude myself but then she explained she would like to see something cut out of your creation, this could be an aperture card, or decoupage, nesties, whatever takes your fancy. And we would love to welcome the randomly picked winner to join us as a guest design team member. For my card I have used rectangle nesties to cut an aperture out of my card, I then used the nesties again, matt and layered on the inside with this adorable little tree stamp, I have used pastel raspberry liquid pearls on the tree and on the centre of the little flowers. Hope you can join us this week, last weeks creations were FABULOUS! You really are a talented lot.
Before you go, can you join me in saying a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one of our lovely design team members and a good blogging buddy of mine PAULA, happy birthday chicken, hope you have a lovely day and get lots of crafty presents.
Right off to my very first Stampin Up Demonstrators Day, how exciting and we've decided to go for a meal first so I'm really looking forward to it. Enjoy your day whatever your doing. x

Touchy Feely

Good Morning Crafters. This is a card I made last night for this weeks Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge, the theme this week is 'Touchy Feely'. For my project I've used Cream Pearl Card and SU Chocolate Chip Card that has been embossed with the cuttlebug 'Swiss Dots' Folder, the little giraffe image was a stamp given to my by my lovely friend Jaime and I have coloured it with promarkers, sentiment stamp is from the SU 'Best Yet' set and is stamped with Chocolate Chip Ink, to finish off I've added little buttons and some Chocolate Chip Ribbon.
Right, off to work for me, I have nothing exciting planned for today, hopefully I will get another card made tonight but my holiday to Gibraltar is getting closer, 14th May, I'm so excited! I am going on my own for 5 days to visit my sister (It was a birthday present from her) the only downside is that I'm already thinking about how much I'm going to miss the kids, I've never been away from them before really and although they will be with their Daddy, 5 days seems like a long time for a 4 year old doesn't it? I know I'm being silly and probably won't even notice me gone lol. Enjoy your day whatever your doing. x

Bunny Friends

Hi Everyone, I made this little card for this weeks Creative Card Crew Challenge, the theme this week is embossing. This is a new penny black stamp called 'Bunny Friends' that I treated myself to on Saturday, I love colouring in Penny Blacks and have used my distress inks and a promarker on the background. I love the results I get with distress inks but I can never get the background to my satisfaction, any tips? I have also used my 'with love' embossing folder and added little Kanban pearls to the flowers on it. The papers are from K &Co and I've added little dragonfly brads for some bling. Enjoy the rest of your day. x

A little Mini.

Back again, this time with a mini card for the Creative Card Crew Challenge, lovely Sharon has done a fabulous sketch for this week and of course I came up with a 'great' idea....why don't I do the sketch on a mini card! Well, it wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be but I suppose it turned out ok, it was nearly going in the bin but I decided it wasn't too bad but I don't think I'll be doing a sketch on a mini card again lol.

Green and Blue

Hi everyone, hope your enjoying your weekend. This is a little card I made for this weeks A spoonful of Sugar Challenge the theme was green and blue, I bought these little stamps yesterday, arent' they cute? They are called 'Hanna Stamps', have you spotted the big mistake? lol what I thought was grass is actually splashes of rain hehe. Ah well, I'll get it right next time. I have coloured the images with prisma colour pencils and sansador. I've had a pretty busy few days so haven't had much of a chance to do any blog hopping so I will hopefully catch up with you all later. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday. x
