Adela and Dida Inventing

dt cards 012

Hi, nearly the weekend so hopefully you have a good one planned, I have no plans at the moment but I’m still hoping it will be a good one. One of my grandsons was taken into hospital this week, long story but he took ill on Monday was misdiagnosed twice and lucky enough my daughter took him back to the hospital for a third time, not happy that they were treating him right, even though they accused her of being over protective and today he had his perforated appendix out! He is 6 years old and such a brave little boy, due to the appendix being perforated they now need to keep a close eye on him to make sure it hasn’t affected anything else in there, but he is looking a lot better today than he has been, he hasn’t really spoke much yet but he was still very groggy after his operation but he managed to give me the thumbs up for a photo.

Ok, onto my card, I have used one of the new releases from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and this beautiful image is called ‘Adela and Dida Inventing’, I coloured the image with promarkers and a bit of prisma pencil, this is the first time I tried them both together and I really like the combination, it really helps with shadows. I have added a cute little spanner brad that I forgot I had which really goes with this image. I keep finding things I forgot I had lol, its great! Maybe I have a stash of money somewhere that I forgot about lol, I wish.  Check out the challenge blog for the latest challenge and some fab inspiration from the dt. x

Oh my goodness, poor little love! Good for your daughter; there's no such thing as a 'fussy mum', we know our kids best! Hope he's soon on the mend.

I love your pretty card today; fab image, colours and sentiment. xx

I hope your grandson is doing better - that's no fun no matter what side your looking at it from. :-, Best wishes for him.

Love the card! Unfortunately I can't see it any longer but at least I can take a good glimpse of it on the challenge blog. Love the corner treatment and that wrench is too cute! :D
