Morning! Argh, my laptop is not doing as it is told this morning, it honestly has a life of its own, as I type out my post it will just disapear! Its like a naughty child honestly, Mmm maybe if I ignore it it will start behaving again. Well, this is a card I made last night for my daughter Jessica's birthday on Friday, it took me quite a long time as I had to keep hiding it everytime she came into the room lol, have you ever tried hiding a card that you have just put liquid pearl on lol, its not easy. This little Teddy Bea stamp is one of the free stamps from Simply Cards and Papercraft this month, they are fabulous and I have already started another card using the Teddy bo stamp. You can see I've gone with the Red, White and Blue theme, its everywhere at the minute but I thought it would be nice for Jessica to look back at her 14th birthday card and remember it was the year of the Queens Jubilee.
I've made a little banner using a heart punch, added some white gel pen and liquid pearl hearts, I've added her age by hand, the stitching is again using a white gel pen and the little Daughter sentiment is a chipboard die cut which has been sponged with some Faded Jeans distress ink. Lots of bling of course and finished with some ribbon and roses. Hope she likes it
The image has been coloured using promarkers and of course Ive put them all away before taking the colour names lol I know the bear fur is coloured using Ivory, Satin and Tan. Well enjoy your weekend, hope its not too stormy where you are, it doesn't look too bad here today.
