Irish Blessings

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been about for a while, family is taking up so much of my time, my son is home for a while so I'm enjoying a lot of family time. I had to come on to show you one of my new stamps, isn't it gorgeous, I don't feel I've done the little cottage justice with my colouring but for my first attempt I'm very happy, I've used Koh-i-noor pencils and sansador for this card but I'm looking forward to trying out my distress inks on it. The stamps are designed by a very talented lady called Claire Brennan you can see all her beautiful stamps here and they are fantastic value for money, I'll probably be back tomorrow with another card using Claire's Stamps. I am entering this card into the 'My Time To Craft' Challenge, the theme this week is 'No Patterned Paper'.

I was thinking of you the other day! I'm 'studying' the Great Awakening and I heard of a place called Oster/Olster (not sure of the spelling) It's in a book called Ireland's Lost Heritage. I'll have to email you sometime when I learn more, when I know what I'm talking about. lol
Enjoy your family!
