More Ants!

Good morning Crafters, I don't know what the weather is like where you are but where I am its a lovely, dry, fresh day, oh I feel spring coming on and its so good to see. Oh no, does that mean spring cleaning? Nooooo, it means get out there with the dog and enjoy it while it lasts lol. This is a little card I've made for my son who is having a reading test this week at school, he is an amazing reader for a 6 year old and I love to listen to him, he surprises me that much when he reads a big word that I get all excited and let out a scream and scare the life out of him, I hope this is more encouraging for him than traumatising lol. This little image is from Doodle Pantry Designs and I can't get enough of Lauries digi's at the moment, she really covers every occasion. I've coloured the image with promarkers and the dp I've used is from a lovely set called 'Woodland Folk' , I also found some great brads in my stash, a little apple and a ruler. The challenge over at Colour Create is 'Fruit' so I picked banana, apple and kiwi for my colours and added extra apple image. I am also entering this one into the following challenges:
Passion 4 Promarkers~ One for the boys
Crafty Creations~ At the bottom of my garden...lives. (Ants, wish there were fairies lol)
Craft your passion~ Dude time doodles
Off for a nice walk now with Ella, enjoy your day whatever your doing. x

you did a beautiful job with this fun image!! and yea!! for your little reader...I love hearing that!

My oldest son (who is now 19) had so much trouble reading when he was little and as a homeschooler, I was trying everything to help him. Finally on his 13th birthday, he pick up a big thick novel and sat down and read it in two days....ack, amazing! He's been a reader ever since. My other three started reading before I even thought about teaching them. Makes me think I did more harm than good trying to 'teach' reading! haha
