Good morning, I am so happy to be able to show you my first card for my first challenge as a design team member for the Digi Doodle Shop Challenge. The theme this week is 'Stripes' for my card I chose to use the gorgeous 'Calliopsis' image from the Digi Doodle Shop and I have coloured it using copics. The photo doesn't pick it up but I sprayed the image with varnish and gathered ribbon behind the image to give a rosette type of look. As the theme is 'stripes' I have used some yellow and white striped ribbon and I've faux stitched around the edge of the card with red pen. Now lets see what you can do, interpret the theme as you like, striped paper, a zebra lol, striped ribbon, can't wait to see what you come up with. Pop over now and get some stripey inspiration from the fabulous new design team and while you are there become a follower and if you make a post on the challenge blog and say ' Hi, Donna sent me over to become a follower', you may be in for a little surprise! I can't tell you just yet or I will have to eat you, sorry but pop back to my blog next week and all will be revealed. I'm really looking forward to seeing your stripey creations, have fun!
