Hi, I’m back again to show you my card for this weeks theme at the Digi Doodle Shop Challenge, this week we would like to see some
No gory pics of your crafting accidents involving sharp instruments please lol. Oh that reminds me, a gory story to share with you but I’ll keep that until I’m posting the card the incident happened with, probably tomorrow.
Anyway, I’ve used a beautiful image from the Digi Doodle Shop called ‘Old Car 1’ and I used distress inks to colour it, I then covered the image with Utee and heat embossed, this gives a real vintage look. The design of the card is called ‘Big Buckle Card’ perfect for mens cards as I used my mosaic embossing folder again covered it with versa mark and Utee giving it a leather look, then added some eyelets, reminds me of a belt. I followed a tutorial from splitcoast stampers which was made by Beate, here is the link. My stitches are faux, first I used my stampin up pricking mat and template and then drew the stitches between the holes.
