Hi Crafters. Before I start packing up my stash for tonight's class I'm having a cuppa and a little look around your blogs, first I thought I'd post some pics of the card and wedge box I'll be doing in my class tonight. Aren't these papers gorgeous? They are from Stampin Up and I only keep these one's for special occasions and as my Mums birthday is coming up soon its the perfect excuse to get them out. I'm sure you've all made these fan fold flowers before, there are loads of tutorials out there if you haven't, the one on the card is using a strip of 12" paper and the one on the box is using two scalloped circle punches, I wanted to show the ladies different ways to achieve the look. I've used a paisley design embossing folder on plain vanilla cardstock and some organza ribbon from my stash.
Here's a little close up, the Mum sentiment is also from Stampin Up as is the pin.
These little wedge boxes are so simple to make and perfect for a little gift, think I'll be adding some Thorntons fudge to mine as my Mum is a big fan.
Well the weather here is still fabulous, not as hot as previous days but the dog looks a lot happier lol, poor thing can't stick the heat, she even started dropping all her toys into her water bowl, think she was worried about them getting too hot. Enjoy your day whatever your doing, catch up with you later. x
