Well here it is, the 'Save the Date' cards for my son and his fiancée's wedding next year. Sarah left the design up to me and approved it, I got my inspiration from my Tiffany box , it was a present from my son when he was on tour, it was a bit difficult getting the right card but I done it in the end. The picture doesn't show how lovely the card is, its pearlescent duck egg blue, the insert is also pearlescent but again doesn't really show in the picture.
I've added two little swarovski crystals to the sentiment which is from Waltzingmouse stamps. The bough is from Stampin Up and I've added white gel pen to the centre of the flowers.
Pearlescent paper on mirror card and I've added a little silver hotfix heart.
The blank card is just to show off the little pocket, the happy couple are adding hotel details here, the wedding is in County Durham and as we live in N.Ireland, my sister and family in Gibraltar and some of their friends in Germany, there is a lot of Travelling going on so these will be sent out a year before the day so we can organise our flights, hotels etc.
I really enjoyed making these cards and can't wait to get stuck into the invitations etc.
