Flakes, Flowers and Feathers

Hi, a late post from me tonight, I've just looked at the clock and its just after midnight, what am I doing up? Its been one of those days, busy busy busy, had a wee party for my daughters birthday and went to visit a friend who's birthday is also today so its taking me a while to wind down, I didn't even realise how late it was. Anyway, this is a card I made for my friends birthday, its using a gorgeous stamp from Indigoblu called Ella Bella and I have stamped her with flitterglu and added Brighton Pier gilding flakes, the card I've used is absolutely gorgeous its called Kandicore and I've distressed the edges to show the pink core which matches with the plain card I've used.  The little flowers I've made are using a die called Crealies Creative Flowers from Joanna Sheens store, love these, and I've added some brads from Stampin Up.

Here's a little close up of the gilding flakes and flowers, I finished the card by adding a little feather behind the image and some black satin ribbon.

Right, bedtime for me, have a great weekend, catch ya later. x
Check Out the Spectrum Noir Blog Hop, great tips and fab prizes!

That technique gives very striking results Donna, this is just gorgeous and definitely full of bling. Well I weathered the storm and went to Belfast and who should I bump into at the craft shop only Crafty Chris!! Treated myself to some goodies too but have a little bit left over for online goodies too.
