Doodling with Swirly Whirlie Poppies

Happy Saturday, looovvvveee the weekend! Even though its going to be a busy one for me, I'm doing this quick post before I head into town to stock up the cupboards for the week and find my 8 year old son a 60's outfit to wear to school on Tuesday!! I have no idea what I'm going to put on him, so far I'm thinking long haired wig and headband lol I just hope I don't end up making him look like a little girl.  Anyway, I got this beautiful digi image from Little Claire Designs and coloured it up with my Spectrum Noir pens and I was tempted to just add this image to a blank card as I loved the clean and simple look but then I started to doodle a border around it and then I wished I hadn't lol but I don't think it looks too bad now I've finished it, I matted the image on some Coredination card and distressed the edges with scissors, added a black satin bow with one of the antique brads from Stampin Up.
Right, time to fight my way up the isles at Sainsburys, enjoy your weekend whatever your doing. x

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Spectrum Noir ~ Flowers
