Excuse my silly post titles. How do you think of a title for your posts? I normally put the first thing that comes into my head even if it probably makes no sense what so ever to who is reading it, it makes sense to me and thats scary! So if you get this title post.....your as nuts as me lol. Anyhoo, I have two cards to show you today using the 'Ornaments on Side'
Darice embossing folders. I really Love this folder and had good fun experimenting some different techniques with it. The first card has been embossed on some cordinations card and I've filled in the recess area with a quickie glue pen, then covered it with glitter. The flower has been make using the Small Rose Quilling die from
Die'sire, I added a dollop of Collall 3d glue to the centre and sprinkled with glitter. The gorgeous sentiment is from the 'Imagine' set of sentimental stamps, the frame has been cut from Chantilly Lace die by
Die'sire.
Another card using
Darice 'Ornaments on Side' and for this one I've used Sheena Douglas 'Fantasty Paints', thought I would try something a bit different and I was chuffed how they turned out. The gorgeous snowflake has been cut from
Die'sire Snowflake die, this layers up to make a stunning embellishment. I've added some silver gilding wax to the background of the embossing and some little blingy gems, it just had to be done.
Here's a little close up of the 'Fantasy Paints'
Thats me for today, remember you will see all these gorgeous folders and more throughout the week with Leann from Crafters Companion on Create and Craft TV. Enjoy. x
